NOTABADBUY (3) should be ready to peak third up. He stuck on well at Sandown Lakeside last time out when beaten a neck and should be fitter again. He'll roll forward with Ben Melham in the saddle and should prove hard to get past. EL JAMES (4) is the big watch. He's a progressive type who resumed in the Warracknabeal Cup, backed into $1.35, beaten narrowly into third. A stronger test of stamina will really suit here and he's a big danger. FLOSSING (1) was solid fresh at Bendigo and can improve with a good second-up record. BROOKLYN BOSS (8) is in the mix off a last start win at Ballarat.
