DEFLECTOR (2) gave backers a bold sight here when heavily supported fresh but folded late. Sure to have tightened with that run and has the speed to offset the wide draw and lead again. Expected to prove much harder to reel in this time. GRINZINGER NYX (4) makes her stable debut for the Brisbourne yard. Didn’t make an impression in Victoria last campaign but looks to have come on during the break, lengthening nicely in her recent trial. Can give this a big shake. DIVINE SPARK (3) resumes for the Collins camp and was good first-up last campaign at the Sapphire Coast without winning. Any improvement during the break will see her play a role. RAIN QUEEN (7) has shown glimpses without putting a full race together. Rock-hard fit now and worth keeping safe in the placings.
