Dual winner at Wolverhampton last winter and back on the up when good second of 5 in handicap at Ripon (1½m, good) 18 days ago. Enters calculations.

Scored over longer trip (off 3 lb lower) here last summer and arrives on back of victory over hurdles at Hexham last month. Likely player.

Took advantage of much-reduced mark when landing 6-runner handicap at Haydock (2m, soft, 11/4) 25 days ago. 5 lb rise fair and is one for the shortlist.

Newcastle handicap winner last year but offered little, back from 14 months off, at this course 6 days ago.

Multiple winner over hurdles but finished well held on debut for new yard at Hexham 9 days ago and makes limited appeal back on Flat here. Tongue strap on first time in this code.

Bagged this contest off same mark last year and run creditably in both starts this term, latest when third of 8 in handicap at Catterick (2m, good, 9/1) 35 days ago. Ought to go well again.

Off mark at Newcastle (2m) in August and went down by only a neck in 5-runner race there the following month. Should be straighter for last month's return and usual blinkers are now reapplied.
