NIGHTIME STAR (14) broke through for her Maiden win over 1000m at Warrnambool. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. DANUBE (13) shed her maiden tag at Ballarat first up. Passed a few late after settling back at this course two weeks ago. Another in the race earlier in their career with more upside than most of her rivals. FLUX (2) is on the quick backup after failing to beat a runner home last start. Had been a model of consistency prior to that. THUNDER AWARD (6) has been below best so far this campaign. Will be fitter third up however. Will likely get back from the wide draw and be doing his best work late.
