Speed machine CHANDON STAR (1) has won two open sprints at his last four outings, the latest over today's trip at Gunnedah three weeks ago where he led from the outset. Getting up in the weights but will burn along again and take plenty of catching. CASTLEBAR ROAD (2) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign, battling on well for second in a BM82 over this distance at Dubbo. Worth plenty of thought on the nine-day turnaround. MON PIERRE (3) has been racing well in the bush this prep. Led but couldn't hold on over 1200m at Cunnamulla most recently. In the mix back at his preferred trip. CROOK (4) did a good job first-up over this distance at Scone. Up in class but gets some weight relief which brings her into contention. STREET PARADE (8) hasn't won for over three years. Can find the frame with a soft run to come from a favourable draw.
