MADRINA (2) had been racing well but was a shade disappointing last start when midfield over 1200m at this track. Best form comes at this shorter trip. The Olive stable put a tongue tie on today which may go some way towards explaining the last effort. Can bounce back. The speedy ZALE (3) has been a model of consistency and as rewarded with a win last time out over this trip at Warwick Farm. Good weight carrier who is going to roll along and prove tough to reel in again. REMEMBER JACK (7) is back after a 29-week break. Doesn't win out of turn but this is not a deep race and his two recent trials should have him ready to run a bold race. SHALL BE (1) started favourite but was no match for an in-form sprinter over 1010m at Port Macquarie last start. Has trialled well since and despite coming to town is capable of figuring in the finish. Recent trial winner INOUE (5) goes well when fresh so must be considered at his first appearance since late January.
