LET'S TROT (3) is a leader who was in the money two starts back at Ballarat Synthetic but couldn't back it up last time at Warrnambool after being in contention on the corner. He is well shy of his best and gets in well with the 4kg claim. Fitter and maps to advantage. Gets his chance in this. FLUX (2) followed a 58 win with narrow defeats, with the latest here in a 62. Draws an inside barrier in easier and should be right in it. NIGHTIME STAR (14) broke through for her Maiden win over 1000m at Warrnambool. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. A solid top-three chance. SECRET ELEGANCE (8) is good enough at best and needed the first-up run in tougher. Has a handy 2kg claim and the blinkers on for the first time. The speed-bred mare will get every chance.
