Hard not to be impressed with BARRAQUITO (7) last time, who stepped up to this journey here last time, raced on speed and ran right away for a seven-length maiden win. Has upside and is the one to beat again. DESERT EDGE (8) started odds after some moderate form =but kept coming last time and scored over 2013m at Bunbury. Back in form and can measure up again. SWEET SURRENDER (2) was a 2100m Belmont winner two back then was below best last time. Well placed to atone. ROCK IN WONDER (1) is going well and should be in the finish again. ANGELS POINT (4) relished the extra ground last time and is among the chances.
