BRIAL ROSE (6) showed pace to the bend then caved in and finished last over 1180m at Gundagai last start. That followed a 45-day break so over this shorter trip she looks far better equipped today to play a major role. MAGIC LEPRECHAUN (7) had his first run in over a month when just behind the placegetters over 1200m at Canberra last time out. Impressive winner over this trip at Albury three back. Nicely drawn and should be right there at the business end. HELLINDA (5) has failed to live up to the figure he returned when beaten a whisker here in July in three subsequent runs. This is short of his best but watch for him to be storming home. Four-time winner at the trip HULM (1) will find this far easier than his first-up failure at Sandown. CASSIMIR (4) can improve today down in the weights and from a far better draw.
