SOCIABLE (8) made it three minor placings from as many runs this prep when he thundered home late but just came up short over 1300m at Warwick Farm a fortnight ago. Can race a pair or two closer and off a decent tempo will be hard to resist late in proceedings. UNSTOPABULL (9) extended his win drought last time out when runner-up in the same race as Sociable at the Farm, getting home with the same intent as today's rival. Been up for a long while so probably has no more to offer but should be highly competitive again. LITTLE BEGINNINGS (1) has been safely held in his two runs this prep in Saturday grade. Not too badly treated after the claim and will be ready to find some form at the third run back. MOTHER GOOSE (6) is another who has been easily accounted for this time in work against better opposition. Races well here and should be ready to produce again. The consistent ASTRONOMIX (15) returned in good order at Warwick Farm recently and is ready for a first try at today's trip.
