SUMO SANDY (7) to bounce back here. He'd promised a bit in two narrow defeats to start his career, edged out at $1.55 two back here over 1600m before a slightly disappointing effort when staying at a mile last time. Now gets up in trip which should suit and can make amends. SCORPION (6) has been progressing nicely in three runs to date, boxing on well at Sale over 1728m and giving every indication he'd relish a bit more ground now. Can roll forward from a wide gate and take catching. ONE BROTHER (5) was behind Scorpion at Sale but not all that far away and is another that should improve with more ground having hit the line well there. TITANIUM PRINCE (9) has been going okay and can stay on well late. BANXI (1) could be an improver.
