RUTHVEN RUSH (1) was a big trial winner and followed with a narrow defeat at Eagle Farm on debut. That's good form and he will be fitter. Has a 2kg claim and just has to manage the awkward barrier. WANTED HILLBILLY (6) resumes and the Currie yard is flying. His brief first preparation was promising and he will be naturally improved. Has been gelded and the 2kg claim assists. MISS LEANA (9) resumed here in good order and then tacked stronger at Eagle Farm and didn't finish it off. Maps better today and the 2kg claim is handy. VEGA NOVA (7) has had two starts back in stronger contests and has trialled since the outing at Eagle Farm. Has the blinkers on for the first time and his best would have him in the finish.
