Verdict
PLATINUM SHOT (3) was very impressive last start at Northam when settling back in the field and bolting in over this trip. She was the favourite there and turned in a strong figure in the process. That effort looks clear of her rivals and while she may get back again, she can get over the top to score again. ON PATROL (9) sat back and launched a strong attack to score by 0.2L over 1200m at Pinjarra. The form out of that race has already been franked and he tends to improve with a run under his belt. If he improves as he has done second-up in the past, he'll be hard to hold out. CATCH THESE HANDS (7) has trialled nicely since his latest run 91 days ago and the drop back to 1400m looks a good move off a freshen. The wide draw is a niggle, though he rates highly on his recent efforts and he won't be far away. LINDEN'S GOLD (2) bolted in last start in a CL5 here last start and can go on with the job. PLANET CASH (6) can bounce back dropping in trip.

VerdictForm hard to fault. At the latest run favourite; came from midfield and won by 1.75 len at Northam 0Mwly June 25 over 1400m defeating Exceltrain with 58.5kg at $3.30. Before that made significant ground from the rear of the field 2nd of 10 at Northam Cl5 on June 12 over 1300m, slow going neck behind Cross Statement with 58kg at $7.50.
